Chery gets Exim aid
China Export and Import Bank, the country's policy lender, has agreed to grant a 10 billion yuan loan to carmaker Chery Automobile to finance its overseas expansion. Chery said it aims to grow overseas sales to 140,000 cars this year from 119,800 units last year and maintain its position as China's top passenger car exporter. The company, which has eight overseas plants, is looking at selling 400,000 cars by 2010.
