Farmer duped by identity fraud in marriage scam
A farmer in Nanning, the Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, sued the local civil affairs bureau for failing to verify the ID card of the fiance who stole money from him after he married her.
Huang, 27, met the con woman via a local matchmaking service last year.
