Ruins of palace found

Archaeologists have found the relics of an ancient imperial palace, used as a temporary residence of Qin kings more than 2000 years ago, the cultural heritage administration in Shaanxi province announced yesterday.

The ruins - ancient tiles, bricks and water pumps - found in the Qianyang county date back to the Warring States period (475 BC - 221 BC), archeologists said.
