500m yuan for SMEs fund

The Beijing municipal government is set to add 500 million yuan to its fund for small-and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), Xu Xi, deputy head of the Beijing municipal finance bureau, said yesterday.

Some 16 SMEs in the investment, manufacturing, environmental protection and servicing industries have been short-listed as the first group to be funded.
