Supercomputer network

China's largest computer maker Lenovo yesterday signed a partnership with the computer network information center under the Chinese Academy of Sciences to build a national supercomputer network that provides computing services for governments, research institutions and commercial clients.

The new computing platform, funded by the government, will connect existing regional supercomputer centers in the country. It will enable organizations and companies in remote areas to share the capability of supercomputers.
