Probe into eggs claim

An investigation team, led by a vice-mayor, has been set up in Dehui, Jilin province, after a local company was accused by Hong Kong for allegedly selling eggs containing large amounts of melamine.

Hong Kong's center for food safety said on Tuesday it had found excessive amounts of the industrial chemical in the eggs supplied by Jiayuan Farm Produce and By-Products Trading Co Ltd, based in Dehui.
