11 schoolgirls killed
Eleven students at a secondary school have died of carbon monoxide poisoning, and another is in serious condition, a provincial government official said yesterday.
The students, all girls, of the Duiziliang Secondary School in Yulin city, had lit a coal fire on Monday evening in their dormitory to keep warm.
