Taxi drivers back at work
All taxi drivers were back at work in Guangzhou yesterday after the local government promised to consider their complaints. About 4,000 taxi drivers out of a total of 17,000, stopped work on Monday morning in response to a call by other drivers to stage a protest. However, by late Monday afternoon most had gone back to work.
