Editor's note: Oshkosh, one of the world's largest specialty truck makers, has been offering product and service support in China since 1982.
The Wisconsin, US-based company, which also produces fire, emergency vehicles and access equipment, broke ground recently for a new manufacturing plant in Tianjin as part of its expansion plans in China.
The $40 million plant, Oshkosh's first in the country, will initially produce aerial work platforms and cater to the China and Asian markets.
