DPRK releases new photos of Kim Jong-il

A new batch of images sent yesterday from the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) show its leader, Kim Jong-il, appearing fit while touring a military unit, amid questions about his health.

The images, aired on DPRK state TV and distributed by the Republic of Korea (ROK)'s Unification Ministry, show Kim smiling during a visit to an air force unit.

The DPRK leader is dressed in a winter parka, brown fur hat, thick gloves and his trademark sunglasses.
