Landscapes under decorative style

Seeking in World of Color, a new series from Wu Zhanchun, features vivid colors and dynamic compositions. Taking the traditional frames of a fan and pagoda, the works are mainly themed on landscapes and stills. Deep valleys, majestic mountains and countryside courtyards are executed in an elegant and decorative style.

Born in 1963, in Beijing, Wu graduated from the College of Art and Design at the Beijing University of Technology. He was once an art editor and reporter for the China Youth Daily and China Business Times. His works have been collected by the US Ford Foundation, Goethe Institute, as well as the Embassy of Denmark and Embassy of Luxemburg in Beijing.
