Alienation fuses into scenes from a big city

Artist Wu Yang's black-and-white depictions of urban landscapes in abstract form show her understanding of modern man's relationship with space: being alienated, being pressed and intruded on and somehow being fused with each other. Her paintings are powerful but the acrylic strokes have the aura of traditional Chinese ink paintings.

Artist Jiang Jing will also present her Water World series at the same time.

Opening at 3 pm, Nov 29-Dec 12
