Donations for $3,000 water bill
An 84-year-old man in Appleton, Wisconsin, hit with a $3,000 quarterly water bill for leaky pipes won't have to pay a dime, thanks to the generosity of others.
As of Tuesday, a drive to help Norman Beckman had raised $4,027 in one week. Organizers have stopped accepting the contributions .
