Hotel forced to make big pay out for food poisoning

A hotel was recently ordered to pay 200,000 yuan ($29,300) compensation to a diner who suffered from food poisoning after eating fish in Zhongshan, Guangdong province.

Zheng Hongcai (not her real name), 43, suffered intense diarrhea and heavy vomiting after eating grouper at a hotel in the city's Xiaolan township in November, 2004.
