Quake near Three Gorges

A 4.1-magnitude earthquake hit Zigui county in Hubei province at 4:01 pm on Saturday, the National Seismic Network said, but no reports of casualties have been reported.

The epicenter of the quake was about 30 km from the Three Gorges Dam. The tremor, however, has not damaged the dam, a Three Gorges Project Corporation spokesman said.
