Patient sues hospital after fatal ambulance accident

A hospital was recently ordered to pay 14,774 yuan ($2,170) compensation to a patient injured in a traffic accident in which the ambulance driver died.

The accident took place late last year after an ambulance dispatched by He'ai hospital in Nanning, capital of the Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, fetched patient Wei Xiong and collided with a coach on its way back.
