Yeah, yeah, yoyo

The Guangnei neighborhood of Xuanwu district tend to turn their open balconies into workshops and one of their biggest passions is making kongzhu, or Chinese yoyo. So it's make sense that their area is now home to the nation's first kongzhu museum.

In a short span of two months, more 300 Chinese yoyos have been collected and housed in the neighborhood center. One resident donated a 100-year-old gourd diablo, which was handed down from his great grandparents.

For decades, Guangnei residents deemed it an honor to spread kongzhu culture and are proud to have two kongzhu experts in the community. Zhang Guoling and Li Lianyuan are proud diablo masters.
