Leaning on the wailing wall

BeijingDance/LDTX revives two works by its most celebrated choreographers: Moment of Color by Willy Tsao and Undetermined Domain by Li Hanzhong and Ma Bo.

Moment of Color is framed by 48 chairs, dancers weave through moments of conflict, confusion and relationships.

Undetermined Domain was created for the Guangdong Modern Dance Company and premiered in 1997. Li and Ma combine lighting, props, costumes, movement and music to create a wall between self and other, real and imagined, mind and matter.
