China urges negotiation

China hopes that the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) and the Republic of Korea (ROK) solve the border issue through negotiations, the Foreign Ministry said yesterday.

The DPRK military has been authorized to cut off all land borders with the ROK from December, Pyongyang's Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) said on Wednesday.
