Problem pile pills

Pharmacies have been ordered to remove a hemorrhoid medicine from their shelves over fears it might cause liver problems, the Xinhua News Agency reported yesterday.

The State Food and Drug Administration demanded a nationwide recall of all Zhixue capsules made by Vital Pharmaceutical Holdings, after 21 people suffered liver problems after taking them, it said.
