Death sentence upheld

The Guangdong provincial people's high court on Monday upheld a lower court's death sentence against Chen Bingxi, the leader of a gang involved in what is believed to be the world's biggest "ice" producing and trafficking case.

Chen, 52, was accused of producing and trafficking 12.36 tons of methamphetamine, selling 108.85 kg of heroin, and trafficking more than 100 kg of the drug.
