Li Xiaopeng, a mainland student at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST):
"I have great freedom in arranging my studies in Hong Kong. My teachers here exchange opinions with me equally, rather than telling me what should be done. I can ask them any question, easy or hard."
Jolvin Lin, a Hong Kong student who participated in an exchange program with Capital Normal University in Beijing in the 2005-2006 academic year. She feels it's much easier to communicate with professors in Hong Kong:
