Parents compensated for missing student

The parents of a school boy, who was recently declared dead by a court after he had been missing 13 years in Yuanxi county, Hubei province, were recently compensated 210,000 yuan ($38,800).

Xiao Jun, born in 1981, left home in May of 1995 and never returned after he was forced by a teacher to stand outside his classroom as punishment for talking during nap time.
