Resident gives up giant python to wildlife center
A big python raised in a house was rescued after the owner was persuaded to release it in Shantou, Guangdong province.
When locals learned a resident, surnamed Yang, was raising a snake at home, a police officer came to persuade him to release the protected reptile.
