Money for quake regions

The National Development and Reform Commission said yesterday that China will spend 120 billion yuan ($17.6 billion) over the next three years on infrastructure projects in the quake-hit regions of Sichuan, Shaanxi and Gansu provinces.

More than half the money will go on healthcare and education facilities, with the remainder allocated to social welfare, employment, radio, television and government offices, the Xinhua News Agency reported.
