2 jailed for cave-in

Two men responsible for a cave in at an iron ore mine that killed 12 in Anhui province in June were sentenced separately to seven and six-and-a-half years in prison by a local court, the Xinhua News Agency reported yesterday.

The two men hired 12 local farmers to extract iron ore from a depleted mine area, but they were all buried when the mine caved in.
