DPRK 'builds missile base'
A new missile base of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) being built near its border with China is larger in scale than existing bases and can eventually launch intercontinental missiles, the Republic of Korea's defense minister said yesterday.
The new base is 80 percent finished, Minister Lee Sang-hee told parliament.
