Nuclear forum opens

The three-day First Sino-US Symposium on Nuclear Equipment Qualification opened yesterday in Chengdu, Sichuan province.

Luo Qi, vice-president of the Nuclear Power Institute of China, said the event will bring together experts from China and the United States to discuss nuclear power equipment qualification standards and technology, and qualification supervision.
