Man detained 15 days for abusing elderly mother
A man was placed in detention for 15 days and fined 500 yuan for beating his 80-year-old mother.
The hapless woman, surnamed Tian, has been abused by her son, surnamed Wang, for years in Fuyang, Anhui province, and was forced to hide in a pigsty for two days following his latest outburst.
