Official in molest case

A bureau chief of maritime affairs in Shenzhen, who allegedly molested an 11-year-girl at a men's toilet at a restaurant on Wednesday amid police investigation, was suspended from his post, the China News Service reported yesterday. Lin Jiaxiang, 58, allegedly stopped the girl at the restaurant and asked her to show him the way to the restroom before molesting her.
