Sudan vows to protect Chinese workers

KHARTOUM: Sudan will do its best to protect Chinese workers, its Minister of Energy and Mining al-Zubair Ahmed Hassan said yesterday. Militants who kidnapped nine Chinese oil workers last month killed five of them. The rest were rescued.
