Above & Beyond in Beijing

After a long dry spell, groups of first-rate DJs are heading back to Beijing and the clubs are humming. One of the most exciting DJ groups, Above & Beyond, kicks off its world tour in Beijing with its newest work Anjunabeats 6.

Acclaimed for its re-mix of trance music, its members - Jono Grant, Tony McGuinness and Paavo Siljamaki - placed 6th in the DJ Magazine Top 100 DJs poll.

Jono Grant and Paavo Siljamaki met at Westminster University and kicked off the Anjunabeats label in summer 1999 with Anjunabeats Volume 1, a massive club track that caught the attention of Pete Tong, an English DJ who works for BBC Radio 1, and P.V.D., a Grammy-nominated artist and globally acclaimed DJ and producer.
