Bond's quantum leap

Films about superheroes are a pleasant escape from a world in financial crisis and with perfect timing, James Bond's latest adventure, Quantum of Solace, hits Chinese mainland theaters on Nov 5, nine days ahead of its premiere in America.

Moviegoers here will see a complete, unedited version of the famous British spy's latest outing. Daniel Craig, who had great success with Casino Royale, again plays 007, and the new Bond girl is Ukrainian-born actress Olga Kurylenko.

Devastated by the death of previous Bond girl Vesper in Casino Royale, 007 continues his high-octane adventure to Austria, Italy and South America to avenge his first love.
