A coalmine owner recently paid a group of people, some pretending to be reporters, not to report on an accident in which one miner was killed.

The rush to the mine by more than 20 "reporters" to line their pockets, has been described by some as bringing shame to the journalistic profession.

Yet, this conclusion is too hasty. Preliminary investigations by the local department of press and publication and its central government superior, show that only two of those who have taken the money are with bona fide credentials.
