Kidnapped workers found alive in Sudan

KHARTOUM: The Chinese Embassy in Sudan announced on Friday that a Chinese oil worker who was kidnapped by unknown militants on Oct 18 had been found alive by Sudanese soldiers.

Three other kidnapped Chinese oil workers were found on Monday and later transported to Khartoum, the Sudanese capital.

Nine Chinese oil workers were abducted at a work site in southwestern Sudan on Oct 18. Four of them have been confirmed dead, while another remains missing.
