Shipping route to open
A new regular cargo and passenger sea route linking China and Japan is expected to be put into use next March, Chen Weigen, vice-governor of Jilin province, said yesterday.
The route will run from Hunchun to Niigata in Japan via the Russian port of Zarubino and Sokcho in the Republic of Korea.
