Taxman in sex, ice binge

The Haidian district court in Beijing has given a tax bureau chief from Hebei province a sentence of four months in prison and fined him 2,000 yuan ($290) for taking the amphetamine ice with two prostitutes in a Beijing hotel, the Beijing Times reported yesterday.

The 38-year-old from Xiongxian, surnamed Liu, took the ice to Beijing when he went there for a physical check up in May.
