6 men 'planned jihad'
Six Australian men were driven by their Islamic faith to carry out "violent jihad" and amassed large quantities of chemicals to make explosives, a prosecutor told a Sydney court yesterday.
The six men have pleaded not guilty to charges of conspiring to commit a terrorist act and will stand trial next week in the NSW Supreme Court in Sydney.
