Paulaner has a passion for beer
From the famous beer gardens of Munich to the legendary Oktoberfest, the Bavarian passion for beer is renowned throughout the world. Bavarian breweries adhere to the highest standards of quality to ensure the region remains the "beer capital of the world".
Located close to the Alps, Bavarian breweries have pure and clear water to produce their beers. And with its long history and dedication to quality and taste, Paulaner has become Bavaria's leading brewery.
Established in 1634 by the Pauline monks, the company's Munich headquarters are still located next to the old monastery. As the largest brewery in Bavaria, Paulaner's annual production stands at 270 million liters. A quarter of production is exported to more than 60 countries, making Paulaner the third-largest German beer exporter.
