T-shirt features iconic character

Shang Dong was amazed to see youngsters wearing his newly designed T-shirts just a day after they went on sale on the Internet.
"I never thought the T-shirt with the recent iconic character 囧 could be so popular," says the 30-year-old IT worker.
Shang realized how popular the character was while chatting online and visiting BBS sites, where it was seen as representing a particular style and attitude that began to penetrate people's lives offline, too. Even sports brand Li Ning designed a style of shoes using similar "jiong" characters.
