Ambassadors to promote bilateral economic relations

"Mexico shares a 3,200-km border with the United States. It is one of the advantages of Mexico as one of the gateways to the world economy's giant," Jorge Guajardo, ambassador of Mexico to China, said.

"We hope China and Mexico will cooperate more in the future and Mexico is willing to be a convenient access point for China to the markets of the United States and other Latin American countries," he added.

"I visited the Hafei Automobile Works previously and hope the company will set up their business in Mexico," the ambassador said. "What's more, Mexico is a country rich in tourism resources. Over 18,000 Chinese tourists visited our country last year. We opened a new direct air route between Shanghai and Mexico, which will be more convenient for Chinese tourists," he added.
