For many years the Netherlands and China have enjoyed active and dynamic bilateral ties. As early as the 17th century Dutch traders had been finding their way to China. Over the years the bilateral ties have intensified in various fields: the exchange of knowledge, agriculture, education, culture, transport, sports, and trade and investment.
