Chinese, Dutch links improved by commerce

By Wang Qian | China Daily | Updated: 2008-10-23 07:41

The "splendid" Olympic Games have made more Dutch people and companies aware of the dramatic change happening in China, General Manager of Benelux Chamber of Commerce in Beijing Helmy Koolen told China Daily in a recent interview.

"We have five to 10 medium and small-sized Dutch companies investing here every month and the number is still growing," Koolen said, adding that all the big enterprises had already moved in.

The Benelux Chamber of Commerce in China was created with the merger of the Dutch Business Association and the Belgian Luxembourg Business Association, which strengthens the business, government and community ties between the Benelux countries and China.
