Workers in death fall

Three men who were fixing an advertisement hoarding on the 36th floor of the China Central Place in Beijing fell to their deaths on Monday when their safety basket broke, the Beijing News reported.

Witnesses said it seemed the workers did not know how to use the safety device, but the Beijing municipal work safety bureau declined to confirm that. A bureau official told China Daily the accident is still being investigated.
