Shoots near consulate
Gunshots were fired on Thursday near the US Consulate in the Mexican city of Monterrey, prompting officials to suspend visa services and beef up security. It was not clear if the consulate was the target.
The gunshots came just five days after gunmen opened fire on the same consulate and threw a grenade that failed to explode.
