Hang on, Gia is back!

With her anxious, ESG-like voice, Chinese punk queen Gia Wang brings her new band Girl Kill Girl to the Starlive this weekend.

It will be a first solo concert for the former frontwoman of Hang on the Box, one of the best rock bands in China.

As a pioneer of Chinese rock, Gia is the girl who introduced Beijing Punk to the world. She formed Hang on the Box, the country's first female rock band, in 1998, when few people outside China had any idea of Beijing's thriving punk scene.
