NEW YORK: Pascal Dupuis scored with 10.8 seconds left in overtime to give the Pittsburgh Penguins a 3-2 home victory over the Philadelphia Flyers on Tuesday.
Dupuis fired a slap shot from the left circle past goalie Antero Niittymaki to win the first meeting between the state rivals since Pittsburgh eliminated Philadelphia in last season's Eastern Conference finals.
Dupuis claimed his first point of the season as the normally high-scoring Penguins got goals from unlikely sources, Brooks Orpik and Mike Zigomanis also contributing their first goals of the campaign.
