Inner Mongolia man opens private museum
A collector of Chinese cultural relics from Chifeng, a city in the Inner Mongolia autonomous region, has built the city's first-ever private museum and opened it to the public with the consent of local authorities.
With an exhibiting hall covering 1,200 sq m, Zhang Jun's museum boasts some 4,000 cultural relics including jade, pottery, stone and bronze articles mostly belonging to the Hongshan Neolithic Culture (3800 BC to 2700 BC).
