Officials sacked
Five officials from Hechi in the Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region have been fired for an incident in which 450 villagers were poisoned after drinking contaminated water.
Those who were dismissed included the city's environmental protection bureau chief, deputy head of Jinjiang district, and head of Dongjiang town, China News Service reported.
