Flu vaccine plant

The construction of China's largest vaccine facility started on Sunday in this southern city. It is expected to supply the market with cheaper anti-flu vaccines from 2012.

The plant, costing 70 million euros, will be able to produce up to 25 million vaccine doses, according to the investor, Sanofi Pasteau, the vaccines division of Europe's largest pharmaceuticals company Sanofi-Aventis.
